Unboxing: Biore Combination Skin Gift Set

Today i'll be doing a quick unboxing of a Biore Gift Set that I received for my birthday.

The products come in this adorable white and blue floral case. I will definitely be using this in the future for storing my makeup products when I travel. It has a glossy waterproof finish on the outside.

As soon as you unzip the bag, the first thing you see is a little brochure. It lists all of the products and describes them.

The first product is the Bioré Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser. It says that it cleans and balances, and provides and all-over clean without disturbing skin's natural moisture. This is a deep cleansing cleanser with Skin Purifying Technology and is oil free. There is 200 mls of product.

Next, is the Bioré Nourish Moisture Lotion. It says that it creates healthy looking skin by moisturising, balancing & protecting. It is oil-free, and has a SPF of 15. I believe that this would be a great moisturiser to wear under makeup, as it will help to create a moisturising barrier from the sun.

Last, is the Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. They say they clean and unclog the skin, and locks onto and pulls out dirt for the deepest clean. The pack contains 6 nose strips, and is the original and deep cleansing original formula.

I'm really excited to test out these products, and I might to do a review on them after I use them for a while.

Review: Revlon Lip Butters

It seemed only like last summer when everyone and their mother was going on a Revlon Lip Butter craze. Everyone was swarming over the Revlon stands, and the internet was full of review and swatch posts.
Now they have been out for quite a while, and I thought that I would do a quick review in case anyone has just jumped on the bandwagon, and wants to purchase these lip butters.
I would describe these products as being a cross between a lipstick and a lip balm. They are packaged like and have the colour payoff of lipsticks, but have the moisture and feel of a lip balm. This makes them an easy product to just throw in your handbag, and apply without a mirror (well at least the lighter shades!) whilst on the go.
I have three shades, ‘025 Peach Parfait’, which is a light pink with brown tones and a lot of shimmer, ‘050 Berry Smoothie’, which as the name suggests, is a nice berry tone, and ‘090 Sweet Tart’, a bright pink.

Review: Sportsgirl Pout About It Lipstick

These sportsgirl lipsticks are described as being ‘vibrant lip colour that moisturises and protects’. I’d have to agree with this statement. These lipsticks are non-drying, and have a fair amount of colour payoff.
The packaging of these lipsticks is pretty good for a drugstore product, but the thin plastic cap does seem flimsy enough to break upon being dropped. The packaging does share a resembelance to the NYX black label lipsticks.
And these lipsticks are super affordable, at only $10! But this is unlucky for any non-Australian beauty addicts who are wanting to get their hands on these babies, as they are only found in the Australian store, Sportsgirl.
Now, for swatches!
The two colours that I have purchased so far, are a light-medium natural pink, ‘Beauty Queen’, and a darker, more purple toned lipstick, ‘Pretty Please’.

**Sorry for the awful lighting
Anyway, I love these lipsticks, and will definitely be purchasing more soon. They have a great moisturising formula, good staying power, and lovely pigmentation.

Hai there!

Hey everyone!

I started blogging a few months ago, and recently decided to delete all of my posts and start fresh. So since I never properly introduced myself to you, I thought i'd do that now.

My name is Eila, and i'm 17 years old. I live in the sunny land of Australia, and spend my time making youtube videos, playing the piano, on tumblr, and testing out new beauty products.

One of my all time favourite hobbies, is making videos for youtube. I recently started an account with my bestfriend, Sarah, and we love to get together and film. One of my most prized possessions, is my Canon 600D DSLR. I received this camera as my birthday present last year, and have been taking photos and filming off it ever since.

Since you have a basic outline of me, now I thought i'd share some photos.

Hello there!

Sarah and I meeting the gorgeous DOMMsmiles

Filming a new video!

So that pretty much sums me up, I hope you've enjoyed my new attempt at a blog, and please stick with me for some new beauty/fashion related posts.
